The Economic Outlook for the near term remains negative. The U.S. economy is in decline and is likely headed or already in a recession. Tory Capital Economics Consulting Firm, located in Princeton, NJ recommends caution near term.

Economic Outlook: Housing

Expect housing prices to continue to decline. The current outlook is a decline in new home sales that increases at an increasing rate.

Economic Outlook: Inflation

Core inflation and other measures will continue to rise. This will cause the bond market to adjust accordingly and real rates will rise further

Economic Outlook: Jobs

Expect an increase in resignations to be offset by a new need to work due to increased gas prices and inflation. The net negative will be a decrease in joblessness near-term.
